When poverty and homelessness impact families, we all lose. The current state of affairs where I live is dire. Even working parents can barely afford to exist. The minimum wage is not enough. It’s not a living wage. In some places, folks are earning $10 an hour less than they need to exist. Multiply that for a family and you see where this goes. Meanwhile, food prices are insane.
