Overcoming Doubt: My Journey in Online Business Despite Skepticism from Family
Starting out in online business, especially in the face of doubt from family members, can be one of the most challenging paths for any aspiring entrepreneur. This is especially true when those closest to you—whether it’s a biological brother or a brother-in-law—doubt your ability to succeed. My journey was no different, and the challenges I faced from my brother’s skepticism have become part of my motivation to push forward despite setbacks.
The Beginning of Doubt
The first real confrontation of my entrepreneurial aspirations came in 2012 when I decided to venture into forex trading. Like many beginners in the world of online business, I was lured in by the promise of quick money, financial independence, and the glamorous lifestyle that many successful forex traders flaunt online. I saw forex trading as an opportunity to leverage my intelligence, research skills, and ability to make sound decisions into a profitable career.
However, I underestimated the complexity of forex trading. I had little experience, little understanding of the nuances of the market, and, perhaps most critically, a lack of mentorship.
