I learned a valuable lesson from this experience. I should have boldly and immediately escalated the problem to the corporate CEO. The company wasn’t honoring our binding sales contract, which guaranteed business expense reimbursements. It had been my responsibility to notify the corporation in writing that they were in breach of contract and demand a written response.
