I don’t mind too much, as it’s a very eclectic project, and I’m just grateful it’s being published at all. I wasn’t laboring under the belief that it would rescue me from the crushing vice-grip of my student loan debt or anything like that. But I did, perhaps naively, hold a small flame of hope that I would see some monetary reward for my troubles, even if it was a small honorarium. A small sum that said, hey you, you made something here, something great, and I value your time and commitment.
