I believe it’s incorrect to draw existentialist or nihilist conclusions from Cioran’s books. Trying to follow a philosophical truth through the gloomy and melancholic aphorisms he almost thrusts into our eyes on almost every page is not particularly meaningful. Indeed, if you try to do so, you may struggle to find a consistent flow. Instead, evaluating each subject that Cioran addresses within its own “narrow,” that is, non-comprehensive totality, is a more accurate approach, I would say.
