Facing the Void: Contemplating Quitting When No One Reads or Claps for My Content

It’s understandable to feel frustrated when my work doesn’t seem to gain the recognition i expect. When i’m consistently creating content and it feels like no one is reading or clapping for my efforts, it can make me question whether it’s worth continuing. However, there are several things i can consider before deciding to quit.

1. Purpose of Writing
Start by reminding myself of why i began writing in the first place. Is it just for validation through claps and reads, or is there a deeper motivation? Maybe i wanted to share my thoughts, document my experiences, or inspire others. Reconnecting with my initial purpose can help me persevere even when recognition is slow to come.

2. The Growth Process
Every writer, especially when starting out, experiences periods where their work doesn’t receive a lot of attention. This is not a reflection of my worth or talent but simply a part of the journey. Growing an audience takes time, and consistently putting out content, even when it feels like no one is listening, builds resilience and helps me improve as a writer.
